The best time to visit is during the months of 15 November to 15 June when the weather is pleasant and wildlife sightings are abundant.
Only from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM may one enter the Dhagari gate, which is the main gate. Entry will not be permitted after 4:00 PM, and reservations will be canceled without a refund.
During their stay, visitors can eat at the on-site restaurant, Except Sarpduli & Sultan Forest Rest House.
There are no TVs, Air Conditioners and Electric Kettle in any of the Dhikala Forest Rest House’s rooms. Although there are electrical outlets in the rooms for your phones and cameras. There are Ceiling Fan & There are solar geysers, you will get hot water there.
Private vehicles are not allowed within the core area of the forest. You can reach the lodge via designated vehicles provided by the Tour Operators.

Leopards can be easily located in the hilly areas but can also be seen around in the lowland jungles. Smaller-size feline population comprises the Jungle Cat, Fishing Cat and Leopard Cat. Other mammals inhabiting Jim Corbett National park includes deer species (Barking, Sambhar, Hogg and Chital), Sloth bears and Himalayan Black bears, Indian Grey Mongoose, otters, Elephants, Yellow Throated Martens, Ghoral (Goat-Antelopes), Indian Pangolins, and Langur and Rhesus Monkeys. Local crocodiles and Indian Python, King Cobra could also be seen in the Jim Corbett Park.
Flora
National Parks have their distinct flora which comprises the freshwater flora and alpine flora. The prominent alpine flora includes Sal forests, Chaurs, Khair-Sissoo forests and much more. The river plants on other hand have its own distinctive hierarchy. There are over 600 species of trees, shrubs, herbs, bamboos, grasses, climbers and ferns in the Jim Corbett National Park.
